p53 유전자는 암억제유전자(Tumor suppressor gene)로 17p11.2에 위치하며, p53유전자의 이상은 Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS),Skin cancers, Melanoma,Breast cancer, Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma,Lung cancers,Liver cancer, Gastric cancer, Bladder cancer, Cervical cancer등 여러 악성 세포 질환에 관찰 되어지며, 특히 Haematological malignancies에서는 20 - 30% 의 blast crisis CML (mostly in the myeloid type),5% 의 MDS, 15% 의 ANLL, 2% 의 ALL, 15% 의 CLL, 30% 의 T-cell leukaemia (only found in the aggressive form). 5-10% 의 multiple myelomas. 60-80% of Hodgkin disease,30% 의 high grade B-cell NHL (rare in low grade NHL), 50% 의 HIV-related NHL등에서 보고 되고 있음.
유전자 동의서 요망. 채취직후 tube를 잘 mix해서 clot이 되지 않도록 주의하고 즉시 검사실로 보낸다. 보관시 냉장 보관.
